2023 topics include; advances in corneal surgery and cross linking.

The South West Ophthalmic Nurses Society has members from all over the South West ranging from Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Wales and Gloucestershire.

Once a year, it holds an educational meeting and AGM after the Early May Bank Holiday. Any nurse, member or not, is welcome to attend. You don’t have to work within an Ophthalmology department – just have an interest in Ophthalmology.

This event, hosted by the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is held at the ICC Newport Wales. It is open to #ophthalmic nurses and those with an interest in ophthalmology, contact SWONS for more information.
