Surgitrac® Europe at the ESCRS

European distribution partner, Surgitrac Europe makes its first appearance at the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) 36th annual meeting in Vienna.

This year, Surgitrac Europe will be presenting its “Just one use” concept to a wider European audience.

“Just one use” refers to single-use ophthalmic instruments, that are sterile and ready to use. Following a procedure such as cataract removal, the instruments are disposed of, never to be used again. This enhances patient safety in the operating theatre, by reducing the risk of cross contamination, whilst helping to save time and resource involved in setting up.

For many hospitals, using single-use products is more cost effective than completing the reprocessing cycle.

These new instruments, popular in Continental Europe, are manufactured to international standards.
