Surgitrac® single-use instruments and packs tender win

Surgitrac® Instruments procedure packs and single-use instruments are available on the NHS Complete Ophthalmology Solutions framework

Surgitrac® Instruments’ congratulates its distribution partner Surgitrac, on the successful outcome of a recent tender bid.

It completed a tender process carried out by The London Procurement Partnership (LPP) on behalf of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

The rigorous tender process required suppliers to meet the strictest standards of the National Health Service (NHS).

SD Healthcare also demonstrated that the manufacturers it uses, such as Surgitrac® Instruments, also meet those standards, including the Ethical Trading Initiative’s  ETI base code,

The NHS is the publicly funded national healthcare system for England and one of the four National Health Services of the United Kingdom. It is the largest and the oldest single-payer healthcare system in the world.

The ETI Base Code is founded on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and is an internationally recognised code of labour practice

SD Healthcare participated in the LLP’s Complete Ophthalmology Solutions Framework, OJEU Reference number: 2016/S 243-443025 and was awarded Lot 2: Ophthalmic Surgical Instruments, Lot 2.1 – Single Use, Lot 3: Ophthalmic Procedure Packs, Lot 4: Ophthalmic Solutions and Gases.
