On the 24th of January, we attended the 27th Nottingham Eye Symposium and Research Meeting (NESRM), chaired by Ms. Dalia Said. Held at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre, Beeston Lane, Nottingham, this prestigious event provided a unique opportunity to explore the latest in both basic science and clinical ophthalmic research.
The event featured a diverse programme, including Clinical and Translational Research Presentations, as well as an Optometry guest lecture by Dr. Jasleen Jolly, entitled “The Myths and Truths of Charles Bonnet Syndrome“. In addition, a Clinical Symposium on “Ocular Trauma” was held, with contributions from experts such as Mr. Freddy Beer, Ms. Katya Tambe, and Professor Harminder Dua CBE, Co-Chair of the 27th NESRM, among others.
Our Clinical Specialist, Scott Shipley, attended the event and had the pleasure of meeting some of the most esteemed ophthalmic professionals from the East Midlands region. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the delegates who visited us at the Surgitrac booth.
